Greetings from the 43rd Annual Conference NESCON 2025, Kolkata.
The organizing team is happy to announce the abstract submission date for poster, podium and video presentation at the 43rd NESCON 2025 to be held from 1st to 3rd August at Novotel, Kolkata.
Abstracts can be submitted from May 10th 2025 onwards.
The guidelines for abstract submission are as follows.
ALL ABSTRACTS MUST BE SUBMITTED WITH THE FOLLOWING SECTIONS:
The title of the Abstract should not contain more than 25 words and the text of the `Abstract’ should contain no more than 300 words in MS Word format, Times new roman, font size 12, double spacing lines. It should be structured in the following manner:
Topics for abstract submission should be related to Neuro-otology, otology, balance and equilibriometric disorders including both diagnostic and therapeutic aspects. Basic Sciences research is also encouraged. Case reports and Case series are discouraged for Podium presentation; however final decision will be with the Abstract Committee.

The papers that have been accepted will be published in proceedings of 43rd NESCON 2025. Organizing Committee holds all publication rights including copyright unless otherwise intimated to the authors by Organizing Committee in writing.

Abstracts can be submitted from May 10th 2025 onwards.
The guidelines for abstract submission are as follows.
- Abstracts/ case reports must be original and must not have been published/ sent for publication before presenting at 43rd NESCON 2025.
- The first author should be the corresponding author and also the presenter. It is the responsibility of the first author to ensure that all the authors mentioned have given their consent.
- Authors must indicate their preferences (oral/poster/video) of presentation and category during submission process, but the decision for the selection for each type and their mode of presentation as well as the category will be by the scientific committee of 43rd NESCON 2025.This decision is final and binding.
- Last date for submission of abstract is 15th June 2025.
- Abstracts must be submitted via email to abstracts.nescon2025@gmail.com
- No changes can be made after online submission of the abstract.
- All submissions will be acknowledged by email only.
- Conference registration is mandatory for presenting oral paper/e-poster at the 43rd NESCON 2025.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS:
1. Podium Presentation
- For 6 +2 min presentation, the Warning bell should come at 5 min and final bell at completion of 6 min. Another two minutes for question and answer session.
- Final Bell will be rung at the end of your allotted time and the projection will freeze when the time exceeds the allotted and a ‘thank you’ slide will appear on the screen.
- Once the session is over, questions can be entertained depending upon the availability of time and discretion of the Chairperson.
- Please adhere to the topic allocated and please keep to time so as to not infringe on the time allocated to subsequent speakers. All 8 minute slots are considered as 6 + 2 mins allowing time for discussion.
- The presentation material of all sessions is required to be handed over at the PREVIEW DESKS in the scientific hall and indicate the same to the respective hall coordinator.
- To ensure correct positioning of the slides, there is a requirement of handing over the slides minimum TWO HOURS PRIOR to the presentation.
- PowerPoint presentations are acceptable.
- Personal laptops will not be permitted.
- You are requested to report to the hall coordinator at least half an hour prior to the program.
2. E Poster Presentation
- File Format: PDF file – 1 page is recommended
- Orientation: Please create your document in PowerPoint in Landscape Layout 16×9 and Save it as a PDF file
- Font types: Arial, Calibri, Verdana Times New Roman or Helvetica
- Font size: > 11
- Hyperlinks, animated images, animations and embedded videos are not permitted
- QR Codes may be included
- Images and tables: at least 200 dpi. Good picture quality is essential.
- When inserting images, photos, tables, etc., use copy-paste. Do not use embedded documents
- Avoid overlapping objects and layers. Only the final view/status will be visible
- When saving your PDF please do not use symbols or special characters (ie. +/@/ü) in the file name
- File size: Less than 4 MB
3. Video Presentation
- Videos should be in MP4 formats only.
- The recommended minimum resolution is 1080p; higher resolutions are encouraged.
- Duration of video should not exceed 8 minutes.
- Full video must be submitted during the time of abstract submission.
- No PPT presentation is accepted.
ABSTRACT / CASE REPORT SUBMITTERS’ DECLARATIONS
During abstract/case reports submission you will be declaring the following:
- I previewed this abstract / case report and that all information is correct. I accept that the content of this abstract / case report cannot be modified or corrected after final submission and I am aware that it will be published as submitted.
- Submission of the abstract / case reports constitutes the consent of all authors for presentation and publication.
- The Abstract/case reports Submitter grants the Organizers a copyright license to reproduce, publish, translate, distribute, and display the text of the Content on a royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable nonexclusive basis.
- The Organizers reserve the right to remove from publication and/or presentation abstract/case reports which do not comply with the above.
- I understand that I must select a specific Theme, Topic, and/or Sub-Topic for my abstract / case reports allocation. Although the Committee will work hard to honour this selection, this cannot be guaranteed. The Organizing Committee reserves the right to change the Theme or Topic category under which the abstract / case reports were originally submitted.
